Lawyer | Associate - Workers' Compensation

Position Overview

We are currently seeking a Lawyer or Associate to join our robust Statutory Insurance - Workers' Compensation team based in Sydney. This is a full-time permanent role with flexible working arrangements including hybrid options, supported by work-from-home IT provisions and equipment reimbursement up to $500. Our work environment features modern, open-plan offices complemented by programs that support professional growth, diversity, and wellbeing.

Role Responsibilities and Environment

• Engage in personal injury law with specialization in Workers' Compensation claims, primarily representing employers and insurers.
• Operate within a defendant insurance legal team of approximately 70 professionals across Sydney and Newcastle.

Candidate Profile

• Possess at least one year of post-admission legal practice, preferably focused on personal injury and Workers' Compensation.
• Experience representing defendants is highly desirable.
• Exhibit exceptional legal writing ability that is clear and concise.
• Demonstrate meticulous attention to detail and dedication to client service.
• Show initiative and strong organizational and prioritization skills.
