Position Overview
Hall & Wilcox invites applications for a permanent full-time Associate Lawyer to join our Insurance practice based in Perth. This role focuses on workers' compensation law within a leading defendant insurance team spanning Adelaide, Perth, and Darwin. We offer hybrid working arrangements combining work-from-home and modern, open-plan offices, with IT equipment provisions including reimbursement up to $500 for additional home office equipment.
About the Team
The Insurance WA team comprises over 95 professionals providing comprehensive advice and representation for clients on diverse workers' compensation matters. This role offers hands-on legal experience alongside opportunities for significant learning, career progression, and collaboration with top Australian insurers.
Candidate Profile
- Between 2 to 5 years of post-admission experience specializing in workers' compensation law.
- Preferably experience representing defendants, though applicants from plaintiff backgrounds eager to transition to defendant work are encouraged to apply.
- A sincere commitment to developing a rewarding career in workers' compensation law and contributing actively to the practice’s success.
- Excellent legal drafting skills characterized by clarity and precision.
- Meticulous attention to detail and strong analytical abilities.
