Land Surveyor – Façade Projects

Job Overview

We are seeking a qualified Land Surveyor with practical experience in façade projects. This role involves managing the precise setting-out, dimensional verification, alignment checks, and as-built surveys specifically for curtain wall, glazing, cladding, and aluminium façade systems.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct setting-out and maintain survey control for the installation of façade elements.
• Validate slab edges, openings, embeds, brackets, anchors, levels, and grid lines to ensure conformity with approved construction drawings.
• Assess the alignment, plumb, level, vertical positioning, and panel placement against installation tolerances for the façade.
• Compile detailed survey reports, take precise measurements, and prepare as-built drawings documenting the works.
• Collaborate with project management, QA/QC teams, consultants, and installation crew to resolve any site discrepancies.
• Ensure that all work complies strictly with approved designs, specifications, and relevant quality standards.

Qualification and Experience

• Possess a Diploma or Degree in Surveying, Civil Engineering, or related disciplines.
• Have a minimum of 3 to 5 years of experience working as a Land Surveyor on projects involving façades, curtain walls, glazing, cladding, or aluminium assemblies.
• Strong understanding of façade setting-out processes, bracket and anchor installation, and dimensional control techniques.
• Proficient in operating surveying instruments such as Total Station, Auto Level, Laser Level, and skilled in AutoCAD as well as preparing survey-related documentation.
• Experience within UAE or GCC construction environments is considered advantageous.
• Immediate availability or ability to start on short notice is preferred.
