Job Overview
SINDAN seeks a skilled HSE Officer to lead the implementation and oversight of health, safety, environmental, and fire safety standards within its additive manufacturing operations in Abu Dhabi, UAE. The incumbent will ensure regulatory adherence, conduct thorough inspections and risk evaluations, manage industrial safety concerns, and foster a proactive safety culture.
Key Duties
- Perform detailed workplace inspections, audits, and risk assessments.
- Guarantee adherence to UAE health, safety, and environmental laws.
- Supervise safety protocols for chemicals, powders, equipment, and waste disposal.
- Investigate workplace incidents and enforce corrective measures.
- Organize HSE inductions, toolbox meetings, and emergency response drills.
- Maintain comprehensive HSE documentation and compile monthly performance reports.
- Assist in ISO 45001 and ISO 14001 compliance audits.
- Oversee personal protective equipment usage and ensure contractors follow safety standards.
Candidate Profile
- Holds a diploma or bachelor's degree in Safety, Environmental Science, Engineering, or a related discipline.
- Possesses NEBOSH International General Certificate or an equivalent qualification (mandatory).
- Has 3 to 5 years of experience in HSE roles within manufacturing or industrial settings.
- Familiar with UAE health, safety, and environmental regulations, including hazardous material management.
- Experience in additive manufacturing or oil and gas sectors is advantageous.
