Key Responsibilities
- Carry out precise land surveys and site measurements employing advanced tools such as theodolites, GPS/GNSS systems, total stations, and laser levels.
- Interpret and analyze survey data to develop detailed site maps, define property boundaries, and measure elevations.
- Generate comprehensive survey reports and technical documents using CAD software and other specialized surveying applications.
- Set up and validate control points and coordinate frameworks critical for accurate construction site layout and structural positioning.
- Collaborate effectively with architects, engineers, and construction teams ensuring site preparations align perfectly with project plans.
- Review construction blueprints and plans to determine site surveying needs and anticipate potential challenges.
- Maintain and regularly calibrate surveying instruments to guarantee accuracy and dependability of measurements.
- Document all data collected and maintain organized records for future reference and compliance.
- Ensure that all surveying activities adhere strictly to UAE building regulations and relevant industry standards.
- Conduct quality assurance checks on collected data to verify precision before project execution.
Candidate Qualifications
- A minimum of 8 years' experience in land surveying specifically related to building construction projects.
- Possession of a diploma or degree in Land Surveying.
- Expertise with industry-standard software such as AutoCAD, Civil 3D, Trimble, and Leica surveying systems.
- In-depth knowledge of GPS/GNSS technologies alongside total station operation techniques.
- Strong grasp of coordinate geometry principles and effective site layout methodologies.
- Ability to accurately read and interpret technical drawings and construction blueprints.
- Excellent analytical capabilities and meticulous attention to detail.
- Competence in data gathering, processing, and detailed report creation.
- Skill in overseeing multiple surveying projects simultaneously with efficient organization.
- Experience interfacing with construction site processes and managing project requirements.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office suite and related data management tools.
