About the Role
Sun City Maintenance Pte. Ltd. is currently searching for a skilled Quantity Surveyor to join our team within the Central Region on a full-time, onsite basis. This pivotal role within our cleaning services division focuses on meticulous project costing, budgeting, and financial oversight to ensure contracts and cleaning projects are accurately valued, resources are managed efficiently, and budgets are adhered to. Your contribution will be key to maintaining competitive pricing models while safeguarding profitability and service excellence.
Working Schedule and Compensation
- Workdays: Monday through Friday
- Working hours: 8:00 AM to 6:00 PM
- Salary: $3000 to $4500 per month
Core Responsibilities
- Assist in maintenance and project implementation efforts.
- Develop detailed cost estimates, budgets, and financial summaries.
- Examine and validate contractor quotations, invoices, and payment demands.
- Track project expenses, contractual agreements, and change orders.
- Collaborate with contractors for joint measurements and confirm work completion.
- Prepare tender documents, assess bids, and suggest appropriate contractors.
- Analyze contract documentation, Bills of Quantities, and project financials.
- Oversee contractor engagements including quotations, change requests, and payment claims.
- Ensure compliance with performance bonds, banking documentation, and insurance prerequisites.
- Compile recommendations for progress payments and final account settlements.
- Conduct project audits and cost monitoring regularly.
- Advise on contractual issues, penalties, and liquidated damages professionally.
- Provide support to term contractors on Additions & Alterations (A&A) projects.
- Fulfill other duties as directed by management.
Candidate Requirements
- Possess a Diploma in Quantity Surveying, Building, Engineering, Construction Management, or a closely related discipline from a reputable institution.
- Bring a minimum of 5 years’ experience in a relevant field.
