Job Overview
Join DXC Technology in Riyadh as an L2 Technical Support Leader focused on Integration & Middleware, where you will drive strategic technical leadership across complex middleware and microservice architectures.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end tracing of transaction flows from API Gateway (API Connect) through the Enterprise Service Bus (ACE) to backend Microservices built on Spring Boot.
- Conduct thorough root cause analyses for middleware malfunctions including message loss in MQ, ACE synchronization errors, or JVM crashes within Spring Boot services.
- Ensure platform governance by monitoring stability and managing resource allocation (CPU/Memory) and scaling of pods on Red Hat OpenShift.
- Administer and troubleshoot security implementations like Mutual TLS (mTLS), OAuth2, and JSON Web Encryption/Signature (JWE/JWS) within integration layers.
Detailed Technical Duties
- Work extensively with IBM Cloud Pak for Integration (CP4I), focusing on App Connect Enterprise (ACE) for debugging message flows, ESQL scripts, and connectivity with SAP, databases, and file adapters.
- Handle IBM MQ operations including queue manager management, resolving channel retries, and investigating issues with dead-letter queues or message persistence.
- Troubleshoot API Connect issues related to API definitions, security policy enforcement, and Gateway (DataPower) latency concerns.
- Analyze backend microservices based on Spring Boot for JVM thread/heap dump examinations to fix memory leaks or excessive CPU utilization.
- Resolve connectivity problems between Spring Boot services and databases (using JPA/Hibernate) along with external messaging systems like JMS/Kafka.
- Leverage log aggregation tools such as ELK Stack or Splunk for comprehensive log correlation across distributed microservices to identify failure points.
Technical Expertise Required
- Deep expertise with IBM CP4I suite components: ACE, MQ, and API Connect.
- Strong development experience in Java and Spring Boot (including Spring Integration and Spring Cloud).
- Proficiency in container orchestration technologies like Red Hat OpenShift and Kubernetes.
- Extensive knowledge of communication protocols and data formats such as REST, SOAP, JSON, XML, AMQP, and MQTT.
- Familiarity with monitoring and performance tools including IBM Instana, Dynatrace, and Prometheus/Grafana.
