Job description
Role Overview
We are seeking a skilled L2 DevOps Engineer to join our team based in the Riyadh Region. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in DevOps, platform, or infrastructure support, coupled with proficiency in CI/CD systems and container orchestration, primarily OpenShift.
Key Qualifications and Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related discipline is essential.
- Cumulative 5 to 10 years working in DevOps or infrastructure support roles.
- Strong hands-on experience using CI/CD pipelines such as Azure DevOps, Jenkins, or GitLab CI.
- Expertise in OpenShift container platform management.
- Proficient with Linux/Unix operating systems and scripting languages including Bash and PowerShell.
- Experienced in container technologies like Docker and orchestration platforms such as Kubernetes.
- Knowledgeable in cloud services, especially Microsoft Azure and/or Amazon Web Services.
- Sound understanding of ITIL-oriented operational processes including incident and problem management.
- Capability to maintain and support production environments that demand high availability and strict service level agreements.
- Excellent problem-solving aptitude along with effective communication and team collaboration skills.
