About the Role
At Mitel, you will play a pivotal role in enabling businesses to connect, collaborate, and enhance customer experiences worldwide. We seek a results-oriented Key Account Manager to handle strategic accounts within our Direct Sales Industry Team, primarily serving state authorities and their IT service providers. In this role, you will be the principal contact at decision-making levels, spearheading business development and crafting bespoke solutions based on our innovative product portfolio.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and strategically develop relationships with mainly regional government agencies and their IT service providers.
- Build and maintain long-lasting contacts at executive levels.
- Identify new business opportunities, manage tenders, and drive contract negotiations.
- Position Mitel's portfolio effectively to support customer objectives sustainably.
- Conduct market and competitor analyses to tailor individual customer strategies and leverage cross-selling possibilities.
- Coordinate with internal departments such as consulting, presales, and bid management to deliver comprehensive solutions.
- Maintain sales activities in CRM systems, including regular forecasting and pipeline reporting.
- Develop industry-specific solution scenarios closely with customer departments, extending beyond IT if necessary.
Candidate Profile
- University degree in fields such as economics, IT, or communications with a minimum of five years’ experience selling sophisticated IT or communication systems.
- Proven expertise in the strategic management and growth of key accounts.
- Strong technical aptitude and capacity to translate complex customer requirements into viable solutions.
- Customer-centric mindset combined with entrepreneurial skills and professional demeanor.
- Excellent communication, presentation skills, and negotiation capabilities.
- Native German speaker with proficient to advanced English language abilities, both written and spoken.
- Willingness to travel domestically within Germany and to work in a hybrid environment.
- Preparedness to undergo a security screening process.
