Role Summary
Our Ballsbridge office is growing, and we seek a motivated Junior Payroll Specialist to join our team. This position offers an excellent chance for a candidate eager to advance their payroll and accounting career within a dynamic and employee-centered organisation.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in preparation and execution of weekly and monthly payroll processing.
- Maintain compliance with Irish payroll regulations, including submitting required information to Revenue.
- Keep accurate payroll and employee records up to date.
- Help compile payroll reports and perform reconciliations as needed.
- Manage bookkeeping tasks such as posting purchase and sales invoices.
- Conduct bank and creditor reconciliations.
- Support VAT return preparations.
- Aid senior staff with general accounts administration duties.
- Ensure financial record accuracy and organisation.
Candidate Requirements
- Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy in tasks.
- Strong organisational skills with effective time management.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel and general IT tools.
- Excellent communication capabilities.
- Enthusiastic about learning and career growth in payroll and accounting.
- Prior payroll experience is essential.
- Familiarity with payroll software, such as BrightPay.
