Role Overview

The Junior Architect will play a supportive role in the design and implementation of both residential and commercial building projects under senior architects' supervision. Key daily tasks encompass creating conceptual and detailed architectural drawings, aiding in 3D visual modeling, and contributing to design presentations. Coordination with internal teams, site visits, and ensuring alignment with client expectations, budgets, and applicable regulations are vital aspects of the position. Additional duties include assisting with project documentation, coordination activities, and liaising with consultants. This position requires full-time commitment and is based onsite in Kozhikode.

Qualifications and Skills

• Solid foundational knowledge of architecture and design principles capable of interpreting client requirements and site conditions into effective design solutions.
• Basic awareness of software development and integration principles, particularly related to design technologies and collaborative workflows.
• Capability to support project management functions including planning, coordination, and progress monitoring under supervision.
• Proficiency with architectural design software tools such as AutoCAD, SketchUp, and Revit, along with familiarity with 3D visualization applications.
• Possession of a Bachelor’s degree in Architecture from an accredited institute and eligibility to obtain necessary local professional registrations.
• Strong attention to detail, analytical problem-solving abilities, and teamwork orientation within multidisciplinary groups.
• Effective English communication skills; knowledge of local Kerala languages is a beneficial asset.
• Interest in Kerala vernacular home design, sustainable architectural practices, and context-sensitive site planning.
