Role Overview

We seek a creative, experienced Architect to steer residential projects from concept through design and realization. The ideal professional will demonstrate robust architectural and technical expertise, excel in client communication and consultation, and effectively collaborate with multidisciplinary teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Create innovative and practical architectural concepts aligned with client needs, site conditions, budgets, and project goals.
• Develop comprehensive architectural drawings including floor plans, elevations, sections, layouts, and construction documents utilizing AutoCAD and related design software.
• Engage thoroughly with clients to understand requirements, propose designs, incorporate feedback, and maintain consistent communication during project execution.
• Coordinate closely with consultants across structural, MEP, interior, and landscaping disciplines to ensure integrated design solutions.
• Adhere to all regulatory requirements including building codes, zoning laws, and permitting processes.
• Perform regular site visits to oversee construction compliance with design intent, offer technical guidance, and resolve execution issues.
• Monitor design quality by reviewing drawings, material selections, finishes, and construction details to meet high standards.
• Collaborate with project managers, engineers, contractors, and site personnel to streamline workflow and achieve timely project completion.

Candidate Requirements

• Bachelor of Architecture degree, with Council of Architecture (COA) registration preferred.
• At least 3 years of proven experience specializing in residential architecture.
• Proficiency with AutoCAD and architectural design tools.
• Strong verbal and written communication, presentation abilities, and project management skills.
• Familiarity with local building codes, regulations, and permit acquisition procedures.
• Must be currently residing in Kochi or open to relocate before starting work.
