Role Summary

We develop and maintain the Hosting Communication Platform (HCP) and are currently constructing a new Marketing Hub for the entire IONOS group. This microservice-based network prepares, generates, and delivers customer communications via email, SMS, push notifications, and letters. As a product-focused team, you will contribute to the platform's ongoing development, rollout across all IONOS brands, and deliver new modules for the Marketing Hub ecosystem.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and develop resilient backend services using Java and Spring Boot, playing a key role in extending and deploying the platform to new brands.
• Collaborate closely with multiple development teams, pragmatically implementing innovative ideas.
• Participate in technical design and code review processes, contributing your experience to maintain platform stability and performance.
• Possess knowledge of frontend technologies like React to enhance the Marketing Hub.
• Optionally, leverage experience with PHP, as the communication editor is currently PHP-based, while new modules are developed in React.

• Strong background in Java development and Spring Boot framework, with comprehensive understanding of APIs, distributed systems, and microservices environments.
