Job Overview

TCS is conducting a walk-in recruitment drive for the position of Java Full Stack Developer with React.js in Bengaluru. Candidates with a minimum of 6 years of relevant experience are invited. The interview will be held onsite on 26th September between 9:00 AM and 1:00 PM at Tower A, Yeshwant Towers / Salarpuria Sattva Knowledge Point, Yesvantpur, Bengaluru.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop responsive and visually accurate user interfaces using React.js, Redux or Context API, HTML5, and CSS3 with modern frontend toolchains.
• Design and build scalable backend microservices and RESTful APIs leveraging Java (version 8 or above), Spring Boot, and Spring Cloud frameworks.
• Manage databases through optimized query writing, schema design, and ensure data integrity with both relational (PostgreSQL, MySQL) and NoSQL (MongoDB) systems.
• Engage in architectural discussions to maintain security, scalability, and performance standards in application design.
• Support DevOps processes by collaborating on continuous integration/deployment pipelines using Jenkins, Docker, Kubernetes, and cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
• Produce clean, maintainable code with unit tests for backend (JUnit, Mockito) and frontend (Jest, Enzyme, React Testing Library).
• Work in Agile/Scrum teams coordinating with UX/UI designers, product managers, and cross-functional partners to deliver high-quality software features.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Proficient in Java core concepts, particularly versions 8, 11, or 17.
• Hands-on experience with Spring Boot, Spring MVC, Spring Security, and Hibernate/JPA.
• Strong understanding of microservices architecture and REST API design principles.
• Experience with message queues like Apache Kafka or RabbitMQ is advantageous.
• Advanced skills in React.js (Hooks, Lifecycle, State Management).
• Expertise in state management tools such as Redux, Redux-Saga, or Context API.
• Solid knowledge of modern JavaScript (ES6+), TypeScript, HTML5, CSS3, and pre-processors like SASS.
• Familiarity with UI libraries/frameworks including Material-UI, Tailwind CSS, or Bootstrap.
• Competence in relational databases (MySQL, PostgreSQL, Oracle) and NoSQL databases (MongoDB, Redis).
• Experience with Git for version control and build tools like Maven, Gradle, Webpack, or Vite.
• Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related discipline.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving capabilities, excellent communication, and team collaboration skills.
• Ability to work effectively within a fast-paced Agile environment.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with cloud services such as AWS (EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda) or Azure.
• Knowledge of containerization technologies including Docker and Kubernetes.
• Exposure to GraphQL and Next.js frameworks or modern micro-frontend designs.
