Java Full Stack Developer

About the Role

We seek a skilled and driven Back-End Developer to join our application development team focusing on backend modules for an FX e-commerce platform. You will collaborate with front-end developers and business stakeholders to build efficient, user-friendly interfaces supporting the bank's Technology function.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain backend services using Core JAVA, SpringBoot, RESTful APIs, and streaming-based API servers.
• Work closely with other backend developers to ensure flawless client-server API communication within the web UI; participate in peer code and design reviews for quality assurance.
• Collaborate with Business Analysts and Project Managers to convert requirements into actionable features.
• Manage code releases, deployments, and operational activities on a rotational basis, emphasizing automation and continuous enhancement of build and deployment workflows.

Candidate Profile

• Holds a Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, or a related field.
• At least 5 years of professional experience in software development.
• Proficient in modern Java programming and associated unit/integration testing frameworks like JUnit.
• Experience with agent-based coding assistant software is a plus.
• Familiar with development tools such as Bitbucket (Git), Jira, and Confluence.
• Skilled in Linux environments, shell scripting, security considerations, and SQL databases.
• Knowledgeable in DevOps tools including Bitbucket, Jenkins, SonarQube, VeraCode, and Artifactory.
• Flexible and capable of adapting to changing project requirements while working collaboratively in a team.
• Experience in the financial sector is not mandatory but enthusiasm to learn the domain is required.
