Satin Creditcare Network Limited is a Reserve Bank of India licensed non-banking finance company (NBFC) dedicated to catering to the financial needs of underprivileged households at the base of the economic pyramid. Operating as a micro-finance institution, it is present across 7 states and over 1,200 villages in India.

Role Overview and Key Responsibilities

• Design and develop Spring Boot backend services, RESTful APIs, and business logic from both functional and technical specifications.
• Implement persistence layers using JPA/Hibernate and efficiently compose SQL queries for Oracle and PostgreSQL databases.
• Integrate and manage both internal and third-party APIs with robust validation, error handling, logging, and retry mechanisms.
• Create and maintain unit tests; collaborate with QA teams for API and regression testing.
• Identify and fix defects, analyze application logs, and assist with deployments across UAT and production environments.
• Engage actively in code reviews, sprint planning, estimation, and prepare technical documentation.
• Adopt and follow secure coding standards, version control systems, and CI/CD pipelines.

Required Skills and Technologies

• Proficient in Core Java (versions 8, 11, or 17), object-oriented programming, collections framework, exception handling, and streams.
• Experienced with frameworks such as Spring Boot, Spring MVC, and Spring Data JPA/Hibernate.
• Skilled in developing and documenting REST/JSON APIs using Swagger/OpenAPI and performing API testing with Postman.
• Strong database skills with Oracle and PostgreSQL, including writing SQL and basic query optimizations.
• Familiar with development tools including Git/Bitbucket, Maven/Gradle, and Jenkins or equivalent CI/CD tools.
• Proficient in unit testing frameworks like JUnit and Mockito, with abilities in debugging and analyzing logs.

Additional Preferred Skills

• Knowledge of messaging systems such as Kafka or RabbitMQ.
• Working experience with Docker and AWS cloud services.
• Exposure to banking, NBFC, or fintech product development environments.
• Experience handling transaction-heavy enterprise software applications.

Compensation

The role offers an annual salary range from 800,000 to 1,200,000 INR.
