C++ Software Developer

Overview

We are looking for an experienced C++ Developer to enhance and support trading system pricing integrations. This role involves developing, integrating, and maintaining components that connect pricing engines with trading platforms, ensuring the solutions are high performing, reliable, and accurate.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement pricing integration modules within trading systems using C++.
• Create and maintain interfaces linking trading platforms and pricing engines.
• Identify and fix integration issues, optimize performance, and resolve production problems.
• Work closely with business analysts, traders, and cross-functional teams to deliver effective solutions.
• Take part in system testing, deployment, and provide ongoing production support.
• Maintain high code quality through adherence to best development practices, comprehensive testing, and proper documentation.

Candidate Profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• Between 5 and 8 years of total professional software development experience.
• At least 3 to 5 years of practical experience developing in C++.
• In-depth knowledge of object-oriented programming concepts and software engineering principles.
• Familiarity working on both Windows and Linux operating systems.
• Strong debugging, troubleshooting, and analytical capabilities.
• Able to function well in a fast-paced project environment.
• Exposure to financial services, particularly around derivatives, capital markets, or financial products.
• Hands-on experience with Murex or similar trading platforms is advantageous.
• Understanding of workflows related to pricing, risk management, or trading operations.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to manage stakeholder relationships.
• Capable of independent work as well as effective collaboration within a global team.
