Position Overview

This role entails maintaining designated spaces such as offices, commercial buildings, industrial sites, or institutions to ensure cleanliness and orderliness. Collaboration with colleagues, clients, and various organizational levels is essential. Effective communication skills are necessary to understand instructions and explain tasks.

Main Responsibilities

• Follow all safety guidelines, company policies, and procedures diligently.
• Work cooperatively as part of a team to complete cleaning duties.
• Keep work areas clean and organized at all times.
• Take directions from supervisors and respond to oversight professionally.
• Interact respectfully and professionally with supervisors, co-workers, management, and customers.
• Fill in for absent staff when needed and assist shift leads in finishing assigned punch-list tasks.
• Utilize appropriate personal protective equipment consistently.
• Maintain a professional appearance and conduct on the job.
• Understand and prioritize customer service and satisfaction.
• Use reporting systems effectively while maintaining awareness of work environment standards.

• Prior cleaning experience is not mandatory.

Key Duties

• Vacuum and edge flooring surfaces thoroughly.
• Dust all areas regularly.
• Clean and replenish supplies in restrooms and breakrooms.
• Wash windows and glass surfaces.
• Empty trash receptacles and dispose of waste properly.
• Sweep and mop floors to maintain cleanliness.
• Perform additional tasks as assigned by supervisors.

Physical and Environmental Requirements

• Ability to stand approximately one third of the work time and walk more than two thirds.
• Must be capable of using hands and fingers efficiently to handle equipment and materials.
• Occasionally reach overhead and perform pushing, pulling, and grasping motions with arms and hands between 33-50% of work time.
• Some climbing, balancing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, or crawling up to 33% of the work period.
• Perform repetitive motions as required by tasks.
• Capacity to stand for long durations during shifts.
• Frequently lift objects weighing between 0-25 pounds and occasionally up to 50 pounds.
• Work well under time pressure during peak periods.

Compensation and Benefits
