About the Role
This full-time, permanent position is based in Otahuhu, Auckland, joining the Supply Chain team at DB Breweries, part of The HEINEKEN Company. In this role, you act as a vital connection between physical stock and inventory system records to promote accuracy across the warehouse network and support seamless operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct cycle counts, stock takes, and inventory reconciliations to ensure stock accuracy.
- Manage stock returns and process inventory transactions efficiently.
- Investigate and resolve discrepancies related to inventory and stock.
- Monitor stock rotation closely and identify risks involving aged or soon-to-expire products.
- Maintain precise inventory records and execute necessary stock adjustments.
- Track down rogue pallets and unidentified stock items.
- Assist with reporting of damaged goods and inventory losses.
- Participate in Total Productive Maintenance (TPM) and continuous improvement projects.
- Develop effective working relationships with operational teams to enhance inventory accuracy and performance.
Candidate Profile
- Possess at least two years’ experience in inventory control, warehousing, logistics, supply chain, or related operational fields.
- Familiar with inventory management processes such as cycle counting, stock reconciliation, and stock rotation.
- Experienced with WMS, SAP, ERP, or comparable inventory management software solutions.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel and general computer applications.
- Skilled at identifying inventory discrepancies and conducting root cause analysis.
- Highly organized with strong prioritization abilities to manage competing tasks.
- Good communication skills paired with a team-oriented and collaborative approach.
- Committed to continuous improvement and adhering to safe work practices.
