Inventory Controller

Job Overview

Dr Scent is looking for a meticulous Inventory Controller to oversee and maintain precise inventory records, guarantee stock availability, and facilitate efficient warehouse and supply chain processes. This position requires consistent monitoring of inventory levels, execution of audits, and adherence to company policies as well as UAE regulations.

Key Responsibilities

• Track and sustain accurate stock quantities within the warehouse, salespersons’ vehicles, and kiosks.
• Conduct routine cycle counts and comprehensive inventory audits to ensure physical stock aligns with system data.
• Investigate and report any discrepancies found in inventory to management.
• Maintain up-to-date inventory data reflecting incoming shipments, transfers, and adjustments in the inventory management system.
• Collaborate with receiving and shipping teams to maintain inventory accuracy.
• Contribute to optimizing storage space and organizing stock to increase operational efficiency.
• Prepare inventory reports and key performance indicators as requested by management.
• Ensure compliance with safety policies and proper handling protocols.
• Assist warehouse personnel with inventory retrieval and order fulfillment.

Qualifications and Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Business Administration, or a closely related discipline is preferred.
• At least 2 to 3 years of experience in inventory control or warehouse operations.
• Strong command of ERP software and Microsoft Excel.
• Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving capabilities.
• Ability to work effectively under pressure and adhere to deadlines.
• Proficient communication skills in English; knowledge of Arabic is an added advantage.
