Intermediate Quantity Surveyor

Job Overview

We are seeking an Intermediate Quantity Surveyor with over two years of experience to join a reputable developer working on a residential apartment project in South Dublin. The role involves supporting cost management and commercial tasks associated with the development. The position reports directly to the Commercial Manager.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist with controlling project costs throughout the development lifecycle.
• Evaluate and handle contractor payment applications, valuations, and variations efficiently.
• Contribute to the preparation of expense reports, budgeting, and cash flow projections.
• Participate in the preparation, analysis, and reporting of tender documents for project packages.
• Coordinate with main contractors, subcontractors, and design teams on commercial issues.
• Support the agreement of final accounts and cost reconciliation for the project.

Required Qualifications and Experience

• Bachelor's degree in Quantity Surveying or a related field.
• Experience working as an Intermediate Quantity Surveyor, preferably within a developer, main contractor, or PQS consultancy environment.
• Strong skills in commercial management and cost control.

Compensation and Benefits

• Annual salary ranging from €50,000 to €60,000 plus additional benefits.
