Interior Designer

About the Role

Decorpot is seeking a skilled Interior Designer based in the Kolkata metropolitan area, including New Town, Kasba, and Baranagar. This on-site position requires a creative professional capable of transforming client demands into both functional and visually appealing interior environments, primarily focusing on residential interiors and modular kitchens.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and develop attractive, practical interior layouts for residential projects.
• Consult with clients to understand their needs, tastes, goals, and budget constraints.
• Maintain clear and consistent communication with clients, suppliers, and internal teams throughout project duration.
• Create comprehensive client presentations featuring 2D layouts, 3D models, mock-ups, and renderings.
• Generate accurate cost estimates and quotations aligned with project specifications while ensuring adherence to workflow processes.
• Integrate client feedback and make appropriate design adjustments.
• Keep abreast with current interior design trends, new materials, and industry innovations.
• Collaborate with relevant teams to guarantee smooth project execution.

Qualifications and Skills

• Bachelor’s degree in Interior Design, Architecture, or related disciplines.
• Between 1 and 2 years of pertinent experience in interior design roles.
• Demonstrated practical experience in designing residential interiors and modular kitchen units.
• Proficient in AutoCAD, SketchUp, 3ds Max, Illustrator, or equivalent design software packages.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and client management capabilities.
• Solid comprehension of space planning, materials selection, surface finishes, and design methodologies.
• Effective project coordination and strong time management abilities.
• Innovative mindset combined with meticulous attention to detail.
