Role Summary

As an Installer at JD.com, you will be accountable for the safe and efficient installation of a broad range of products, including home appliances, furniture, and electronics, directly at customer sites. This role demands professionalism, technical skill, and strong customer service aptitude to ensure satisfaction and correct product setup.

Responsibilities

• Transport and deliver products securely to residential or commercial customer locations.
• Unpack, assemble, and install various products in accordance with manufacturer instructions and company quality standards.
• Perform pre-installation inspections and post-installation functionality tests.
• Instruct customers on correct product operation, maintenance, and troubleshooting steps.
• Deliver excellent customer support, resolving queries courteously and professionally.
• Accurately complete documentation including installation reports, delivery confirmations, and customer feedback.
• Maintain tools, equipment, and company vehicles in proper condition.
• Comply rigorously with safety guidelines and internal policies.
• Coordinate with dispatch and customer service teams to ensure timely installations.
• Identify and report any defects or damage found during installation procedures.

Qualifications

• Minimum of high school diploma or equivalent; vocational certifications related to appliance repair or electronics installation are advantageous.
• Demonstrated experience in installation, assembly, or a comparable field.
• Strong mechanical skills and the ability to solve problems effectively.
• Competency in reading technical manuals and interpreting diagrams.
• Excellent communication and customer service capabilities.
• Physical ability to lift heavy loads and perform repetitive physical activities.
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving history.
• Familiarity with basic and powered hand tools.
• Ability to work autonomously and manage personal time efficiently.
• Willingness to accommodate variable work schedules, including evenings and weekends as required.
