Role Overview

We are looking for a skilled Infrastructure and Cloud Engineer with strong expertise in Microsoft Azure, Azure DevOps, Infrastructure as Code, and automation, complemented by hands-on experience with Windows Server and VMware. This role involves supporting secure enterprise cloud operations, delivering pipeline-driven infrastructure, and managing hybrid platform environments.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate, maintain, and troubleshoot Microsoft Azure services including compute, storage, networking, Entra ID, RBAC/PIM, Key Vault, Azure Policy, backups, and PaaS offerings.
• Manage and support Azure virtual machines, VM scale sets, API Management, Azure Front Door, and Web Application Firewall.
• Develop, deploy, and maintain Infrastructure as Code using Terraform, Bicep, ARM templates, and Azure DevOps CI/CD pipelines.
• Automate cloud operational tasks using PowerShell, Python, Bash, and Azure CLI scripts.
• Handle SSL/TLS certificate management including renewals, rotations, and custom domain configurations.
• Monitor environments, perform root cause analysis, and troubleshoot using Azure Monitor, Log Analytics, Application Insights, and Kusto Query Language.
• Contribute to cloud governance policies encompassing security, cost management, and operational standards.
• Deliver proactive and reactive support for production infrastructure, including incident response, problem-solving, service requests, and change management aligned with ITIL processes.
• Participate in on-call rotations and after-hours support when necessary.
• Maintain comprehensive technical documentation, operational guides, and knowledge base articles.
• Support Windows Server installation, configuration, patching, troubleshooting, and ongoing maintenance tasks.
• Administer and troubleshoot VMware vSphere, ESXi hosts, and vCenter servers within hybrid cloud environments.
• Manage core infrastructure services such as Active Directory, networking, storage, monitoring, and security controls.
• Assist with hybrid infrastructure initiatives, workload migration, disaster recovery, and business continuity planning.

Skills and Technologies

• Microsoft Azure cloud platform, including compute, network, storage, security features, and platform services.
• Azure DevOps tools: Boards, Repos, Pipelines, and CI/CD release management.
• DevOps best practices: Git version control, branching strategies, pull requests, code reviews, and governance protocols.
• Infrastructure as Code technologies: Terraform, Bicep, ARM templates.
• Scripting and automation with PowerShell, Python, Bash, and Azure CLI.
• Monitoring and diagnostics using Azure Monitor, Log Analytics, Application Insights, and KQL.
• Cloud security management: Identity and Access Management, RBAC, Privileged Identity Management, Key Vault, SSL/TLS certificate administration.
• Windows Server administration and VMware virtualization management.
• ITIL-aligned incident, problem, and change management processes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or related fields.
• Microsoft Azure Administrator Associate (AZ-104), VMware VCP or VCF certifications are preferred.
• Additional certifications in Azure, VMware, DevOps, security, networking or automation are advantageous.
