Job description
Role Overview
Situated in Auckland CBD with potential travel to the Wellsford project site upon role permanence, this expanding position reports directly to the State Manager and focuses on the strategic oversight and daily management of ICT operations supporting various project sites during mobilisation, operational, and demobilisation phases.
Primary Responsibilities
- Direct planning, execution, and continual enhancement of ICT infrastructure and services across numerous project locations ensuring dependable and secure systems.
- Manage the mobilisation and demobilisation of ICT sites including deployment of networks, communication devices, security installations, and end-user technology tools.
- Supervise ICT financials including budget management, forecasting, procurement, and vendor assessments to ensure cost-efficient technology solutions aligning with organisational goals.
- Serve as the chief ICT contact, offering technical guidance, project status reports, and expert consultation to operational units and upper management.
- Guarantee compliance with cybersecurity standards, governance protocols, and regulatory mandates; oversee ICT risk, business continuity, and service performance.
Qualifications and Skills
- At least five years of experience providing ICT support within complex, multi-location settings.
- Strong expertise in managing ICT infrastructure and network environments.
- Successful track record in project management and ICT implementations.
- Familiarity with Service Desk and ticketing platforms.
- Effective communication skills for engaging stakeholders across all organizational levels.
- Experience managing ICT budgeting and financial operations.
- Must possess a full driving license and reliable vehicle access.
