Position Overview

Followmont Transport Pty Ltd is inviting applications for a full-time HR Local Driver role based in Sydney. Join a reliable Pick Up & Delivery team focused on consistent hours, with potential for regular overtime in a supportive workplace environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Carry out local freight pickups and deliveries efficiently across the designated area.
• Safely load, unload, and secure freight to prevent damage during transit.
• Operate tailgates and pallet jacks as necessary for handling goods.
• Complete all required delivery documents and perform daily inspections and checks on vehicles.
• Adhere strictly to safety and compliance regulations at all times.
• Deliver excellent customer service during all delivery interactions.

Candidate Requirements

• Hold a valid HR licence for driving heavy vehicles.
• Preferably have prior experience in transport or delivery roles.
• Forklift licence is beneficial but not mandatory.
• Demonstrate a strong dedication to safety protocols and customer satisfaction.
• Physical ability to undertake manual handling duties as required.
• Ability to pass medical assessments, drug and alcohol tests, and criminal background screenings.
