About the Role
Join Followmont Transport Pty Ltd as a dedicated Van Driver in Rockhampton, Queensland. This full-time, onsite position involves local pickup and delivery of general freight and parcels around Rockhampton and nearby areas. You'll become a vital part of supporting local businesses and communities while advancing your career within the transport sector.
Key Responsibilities
- Execute local pickups and deliveries of general freight efficiently and safely.
- Load and unload parcels and freight from the van with care.
- Perform daily vehicle inspections to ensure roadworthiness.
- Complete delivery paperwork accurately on time.
- Utilise scanning technology and Proof of Delivery (POD) systems during operations.
- Deliver excellent customer service at delivery destinations.
- Comply with company policies and safety regulations consistently.
Candidate Requirements
- Possess a valid and current C Class Driver Licence.
- Exhibit strong customer service aptitude and a reliable work ethic.
- Be able to pass criminal background checks, medical evaluations, and drug and alcohol screenings.
- Prior experience in delivery driving or freight handling is a plus but not mandatory.

- This is a full-time permanent position.
- Work schedule is Monday through Friday, beginning at 7:00 AM.
- Employees receive weekly pay.
