HR Local Driver

About the Role

Followmont Transport Pty Ltd is seeking an experienced HR Local Driver to join their Pick Up & Delivery team based in Rockhampton, Queensland. This full-time position involves local freight pickups and deliveries around Rockhampton and nearby areas, emphasizing reliable service and safety.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform local pickups and deliveries of general freight efficiently and safely
• Load, unload, and properly secure freight for transport
• Ensure freight is delivered on schedule and intact
• Conduct vehicle inspections and complete required delivery documentation
• Deliver professional and courteous customer service
• Adhere strictly to safety protocols, compliance requirements, and company policies

Qualifications and Requirements

• Hold a valid HR (Heavy Rigid) licence
• At least 2 years of driving experience with HR vehicles
• Previous experience in pick-up and delivery or freight handling preferred
• Forklift licence is advantageous but not mandatory
• Demonstrate a strong dedication to safety and customer service standards
• Capable of passing medical evaluations, drug and alcohol screenings, and criminal history checks
