About the Role
Bureau Veritas Qatar is looking for a proactive and well-organized HR Coordinator to join their HR team based in Doha. The role involves supporting a broad array of HR functions to ensure efficient day-to-day HR operations, overseeing the employee lifecycle, and guaranteeing compliance with both company policies and local Qatar regulations.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist with onboarding and offboarding tasks, including preparing necessary documents, managing employee records, and coordinating induction sessions.
- Keep employee files, HR databases, and personnel records accurately updated and organized.
- Help coordinate recruitment processes, such as scheduling interviews, communicating with candidates, and managing onboarding administration.
- Support processing employee requests related to leaves, attendance, benefits, and HR documentation.
- Ensure all HR records and procedures adhere to Qatar Labour Law and company regulations.
- Coordinate training sessions, employee communications, and other HR-related events.
- Assist payroll preparation by submitting timely and accurate employee data and HR-related transactions.
- Prepare HR reports, metrics, and administrative documents for management and stakeholders.
- Act as liaison with government bodies and external providers for matters like visas, medical requirements, and other employee services.
- Provide general administrative support to the HR department and contribute to ongoing process improvements.
Qualifications and Experience
- Between 2 and 4 years of experience in HR administration or coordination roles.
- Experience working within the Qatar labor market is preferred.
- Solid understanding of HR workflows, employee record management, and general HR administrative tasks.
- Knowledgeable about Qatar Labor Law and local employment practices.
- Exceptional organizational abilities, capable of managing multiple tasks simultaneously with strong attention to detail.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
- Experience with HR Information Systems such as SuccessFactors is beneficial.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills geared toward collaborating with staff and management at all levels.
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related discipline is desirable.
