Role Summary

We are inviting applications for an experienced Tender Administrator to join our team managing proposals within Building Surveying, Accessibility, and Compliance services. Based in Melbourne, this full-time position involves overseeing a diverse workload of fee proposals and complex tender submissions. The role demands collaboration with stakeholders to ensure proposals are timely, accurate, and uphold company standards while driving continuous process enhancements.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage high-volume fee proposal development (100+ monthly) with focus on accuracy and quick turnaround.
  • Coordinate and prioritize tender submissions to align with client deadlines and internal goals.
  • Ensure all proposals meet McKenzie Group's quality and approval standards.
  • Conduct detailed quality reviews assuring commercial viability and brand consistency.
  • Maintain and improve proposal templates, content libraries, pricing tools, and related procedures nationally.
  • Collaborate with technical teams to define project scopes and confirm deliverables.
  • Keep proposal pipelines updated using Salesforce and other internal platforms.
  • Identify and apply opportunities for automation and efficiency in workflows.
  • Maintain up-to-date capability statements, project examples, and team profiles for proposals.

Candidate Profile

  • Proven experience handling a large volume of proposals or tenders in industries like construction, engineering, or related sectors.
  • Strong attention to detail and unwavering commitment to quality and precision.
  • Excellent written communication with the ability to simplify technical information.
  • Ability to build and maintain effective relationships with stakeholders across regions.
  • Experience in process improvements, workflow standardization, and introducing automation.
  • Proficiency with CRM/workflow tools; Salesforce experience preferred.
  • Capability to work effectively in a high-pressure, fast-paced environment balancing speed and quality.
  • Passionate about continuous improvement and operational excellence.
