Job description
Position Overview
The role of Houseperson involves promptly addressing requests from guests and other hotel departments while ensuring public areas and guest rooms are maintained in a clean, orderly fashion. Preventative maintenance issues must be identified and reported appropriately.
Key Duties
- Receive linen supplies via floor shoots.
- Maintain and organize housekeeping carts.
- Collect and remove trash picked up by room attendants.
- Conduct walkthroughs on all assigned floors at the beginning and end of each shift to collect newspaper bags, newspapers, trash, and soiled linens.
- Retrieve clean linens and replenish the par stock of linens in each floor pantry.
