Your Role

• Perform thorough cleaning of chairs, sofas, carpets in guest rooms and public areas.
• Remove tough stains such as chewing gum, candle wax, wine, and coffee.
• Consistently maintain daily cleaning standards aligning with LQA, Forbes, and Brand guidelines.
• Collaborate flexibly and supportively with team members to enhance overall hotel success and guest satisfaction.
• Contribute to creating a unique and memorable guest experience fostering a distinctive sense of place.
• Assist in mentoring new housekeeping team members.
• Address guest concerns promptly and effectively to ensure their satisfaction.
• Maintain professional appearance and punctuality; collect necessary tools including key cards and duty phone before shifts.
• Use appropriate equipment for cleaning departure rooms while minimizing noise during early hours.
• Respect guests’ privacy by adhering to "Do not disturb" instructions and reporting any special room statuses to supervisors.
• Keep trolleys orderly and public areas pristine throughout the day.
• Prepare extra beds and baby cots as requested.
• Report guest laundry found in rooms immediately to housekeeping.
• Safely remove private dining trays from guest rooms and corridors to designated collection points.
• Maintain vacuum equipment and assist in housekeeping store upkeep daily.
• Follow proper procedures for lost and found items, reporting them to Security.
• Handle guest gifts only with proper authorizations and security clearance.
• Ensure safety, security, and proper use of key cards and duty phones, reporting any losses immediately.
• Use Knowcross system to report malfunctions in assigned areas and keep equipment in good working order.
• Secure guest room doors during service using "Service" cards and prevent unauthorized access.
• Manage minibar stocking, ensure products are fresh, track inventory daily via iPod device, and reconcile any discrepancies accordingly.

Additional Information

All duties must be performed with attention to minimizing noise and disturbance to guests, ensuring their comfort and privacy. Close coordination with Floor Supervisors and Security Department is required for reporting any suspicious activities or security concerns. The role demands vigilance in maintaining high standards and strict adherence to hotel policies and guest protocols.
