Role Overview
We are looking for an energetic and service-minded Room Utility (Hotel Houseman) to join our team. This role involves maintaining cleanliness and order in all public hotel areas and supporting guest room upkeep to ensure a high-quality environment for our guests.
Primary Responsibilities
- Maintain cleanliness and order of hotel public spaces such as restrooms, hallways, and stairwells to meet established quality standards.
- Perform tasks including cleaning bathrooms, dusting furniture and artwork, vacuuming, sweeping, and mopping floors.
- Dispose of soiled linen and trash by emptying carts accordingly.
- Remove spots, debris, and insects, polish fixtures, and clean ashtrays to uphold hygiene and appearance.
- Deliver requested items to guest rooms and assist with guest room cleaning as needed.
- Complete other duties as assigned by management.
Qualifications and Experience
- High school diploma is required; education beyond high school is advantageous.
- At least one year of experience in housekeeping or a related role.
Skills and Competencies
- Ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
- Effective verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong team collaboration abilities.
- Commitment to exceeding guest expectations.
- Familiarity with cleanliness standards and protocols.

Compensation
The hourly wage starts at $15.45 or more per hour.
