General Manager

About the Role

The General Manager role at this quick service restaurant involves leading operations to ensure a profitable business while upholding McDonald's standards of Quality, Service, and Cleanliness. This leadership position requires collaborating with Department Managers to set and achieve restaurant goals, coaching teams for continuous improvement, and driving overall restaurant success.

Responsibilities

• Manage the day-to-day restaurant operations to meet profitability targets.
• Ensure the restaurant consistently meets strict standards for quality, service, and cleanliness.
• Work alongside Department Managers to establish departmental goals and monitor progress.
• Provide ongoing coaching and direction to improve departmental and overall restaurant performance.
• Recruit, hire, and develop Department and Shift Managers to build a qualified leadership team for the future.

Requirements

• Prior experience as a General Manager overseeing high volume locations is essential.
• Experience in quick service restaurants is highly preferred; hospitality or retail experience is also valuable.
• Candidates must be at least 18 years old to qualify for management roles in corporate-owned restaurants.
• High School Diploma or equivalent is required; additional English as a Second Language support and tuition assistance are available.
