Role Overview
We are looking to hire a dedicated Room Attendant who is service-driven and ready to contribute to maintaining high standards of cleanliness and hospitality. This position is based in Chesterton, IN and offers the opportunity to be a part of an inclusive and employee-centered workplace committed to personal and professional growth.
Responsibilities
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of guest rooms and public spaces according to established company standards.
- Ensure rooms are supplied with fresh linen, bedding, towels, soap, tissues, drinking glasses, and other necessary amenities.
- Adhere strictly to safety and security policies set forth by the hotel.
- Maintain comprehensive knowledge of the hotel property, staff, services, and surrounding area, including nearby malls and restaurants.
- Identify and report any personal items left behind by guests following the hotel's lost and found procedures.
- Perform additional tasks as assigned by management.
Qualifications and Skills
- Minimum education requirement: High School Diploma or GED.
- Ability to multitask efficiently in a dynamic environment.
- Effective verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong team collaboration skills.
- Commitment to exceeding guest expectations through excellent service.
- Understanding of cleanliness standards and hospitality practices.
