Primary Responsibilities
- Thorough washing and sanitizing of dishes, glasses, utensils, and cookware.
- Maintaining cleanliness and operation of the dishwashing area and equipment.
- Replenishing dishes, glassware, utensils, pots, and pans for continuous use.
- Properly disposing of garbage and waste materials.
- Cleaning and sanitizing dish machines thoroughly after shifts.
- Organizing and keeping dish and storage areas clean and orderly.
- Support cleaning efforts in other restaurant areas as requested.
- Assuming additional duties as assigned by management.
Education and Experience Requirements
- At least a High School diploma is preferred.
- Prior experience in a similar dish steward or kitchen support role is essential.
Skills and Attributes
- Willingness and ability to work various shifts and flexible hours as needed.
- Strong multitasking skills in a fast-paced environment.
- Effective collaboration and teamwork desire.
