Position Overview

Join The Luxury Collection team as a Host/Hostess in Aqaba, Jordan. This full-time role involves welcoming and assisting guests upon their arrival, efficiently managing seating arrangements, and ensuring an exceptional dining experience. The position requires maintaining cleanliness and organization in dining areas and adhering to all company standards and safety protocols.

Main Duties and Responsibilities

• Warmly welcome guests and ascertain their party size
• Escort guests to available, clean tables, assist with chairs, and provide up-to-date menus
• Arrange tables and settings, especially catering to groups with special requirements
• Maintain appropriate place settings including napkins and clean silverware
• Verify menus to ensure they are current, clean, available in sufficient quantity, and in good condition
• Keep work areas clean throughout the shift by following "clean-as-you-go" practices
• Continuously monitor dining room seating availability and guest safety and satisfaction
• Comply with all company policies on safety, security, and confidentiality, reporting incidents to managers
• Maintain a clean and professional personal appearance and uniform
• Answer telephones with proper etiquette and communicate clearly and professionally with guests and colleagues
• Foster positive teamwork and address employee concerns effectively
• Ensure all quality standards and expectations are met consistently
• Be physically able to stand, walk, or sit for long durations and handle objects up to 10 pounds without aid
• Perform additional reasonable tasks as requested by supervisors

Qualifications and Preferences

• High school diploma or equivalent (G.E.D.) is required
• No prior related work or supervisory experience needed
• No license or certification required
