Hostess (Saudi National)

Position Overview

This role involves welcoming guests, managing seating arrangements, and providing exceptional service in a busy dining environment in Riyadh. The Hostess will ensure guests are comfortably seated, menus are current and clean, and the dining area is maintained to the highest standards throughout service.

Key Responsibilities

• Greet guests promptly and determine the party size to arrange seating accordingly.
• Escort guests to available tables, ensure chairs are appropriately positioned, and provide clean menus.
• Assist guests navigating the dining area and accommodate special group seating needs.
• Arrange tables, chairs, and place settings to meet established standards, ensuring every guest has necessary dining items, including napkins and silverware.
• Keep menus up-to-date, clean, wrinkle-free, and adequately stocked.
• Maintain cleanliness in all work zones continuously by adopting a clean-as-you-go approach.
• Oversee dining room seating availability, guest service quality, safety, and welfare.
• Adhere strictly to company safety and security regulations, immediately reporting any incidents or hazards.
• Maintain a professional appearance, safeguard confidential information, and protect company property.
• Welcome all guests warmly following company protocols and use clear, professional communication etiquette, including telephone etiquette.
• Foster a positive team environment by collaborating with colleagues, addressing concerns respectfully, and supporting shared objectives.
• Ensure all service and quality standards are continually met.
• Be prepared to stand, sit, or walk for prolonged periods and manage light physical tasks such as lifting or moving objects up to 10 pounds unassisted.
• Carry out additional reasonable duties as assigned by supervisors.

Qualifications

• Completion of high school diploma or equivalent G.E.D.
• No previous work or supervisory experience required.
• No license or certification required.
