Home Delivery Driver (Inside M25)

Job Overview

Iceland Foods is looking to recruit a Home Delivery Driver who enjoys working independently, staying active, and engaging directly with customers. This role involves delivering groceries within the M25 area, ensuring excellent service as the company representative.

Key Responsibilities

• Follow strict van loading procedures, including heavy lifting and safe manual handling.
• Observe safe driving practices at all times while on the road.
• Conduct vehicle checks before starting deliveries to ensure safety and functionality.
• Maintain the quality and condition of food products until delivery to customers.
• Deliver excellent customer service, acting as the face of the company.
• Assist with in-store duties when required.
• Manage your own time effectively and work independently.
• Work varied shifts that could start as early as 6am and finish as late as 11pm, exhibiting schedule flexibility.

Candidate Requirements

• Possess a valid full driving license held for at least three years with no more than six penalty points.
• Be positive, approachable, and passionate about delivering outstanding customer experiences.
• Demonstrate punctuality and the ability to reliably meet deadlines.
• Have a strong commitment to road safety awareness.
