Job Overview

We are seeking a Home Delivery Driver to join our team in Rochester, England, providing excellent delivery service and representing Iceland Foods in the community. This position offers an hourly wage of £13.71 and includes several benefits, including a 15% employee discount and a minimum of 28 days holiday.

Key Responsibilities

• Load vans safely, following correct procedures including manual handling and heavy lifting.
• Maintain safe driving practices at all times while on the road.
• Conduct routine vehicle checks before and after shifts.
• Ensure customers receive their grocery orders in optimal condition.
• Deliver exceptional customer service and represent the company positively.
• Assist inside the store as needed during downtime.
• Work independently and manage own schedule efficiently.
• Be flexible with shift timings between 6am and 11pm.

Candidate Requirements

• Possession of a full driving license held for a minimum of 3 years with no more than 6 penalty points.
• Friendly, positive attitude with passion for customer service.
• Reliable and punctual with the ability to meet deadlines effectively.
• Strong knowledge and practice of road safety principles.
