Role Overview

This full-time Driver position is based in Kunnamkulam and involves a hybrid working arrangement, including some work-from-home responsibilities such as reporting, scheduling, and documentation. The Driver's core duty is to operate trucks safely, complete designated routes, and ensure timely goods delivery.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough vehicle inspections before and after trips.
• Load and secure cargo following safety protocols.
• Adhere to traffic and safety regulations during all operations.
• Maintain precise delivery records and documentation.
• Communicate delivery progress and status effectively with customers and team members.
• Represent the company professionally during all interactions.
• Coordinate with the dispatch team and report any mechanical issues promptly.
• Assist with basic administrative duties related to transportation activities.

Qualifications and Requirements

• Proficient truck driving skills with knowledge of vehicle handling and basic maintenance.
• Holder of a valid CDL Class A or equivalent heavy vehicle license with a clean driving record.
• Understanding of transportation laws and regulations pertinent to heavy vehicles.
• Strong communication abilities for effective coordination with dispatchers, colleagues, and customers.
• Exceptional customer service skills ensuring respectful and problem-solving interactions on delivery locations.
• Capable of following route plans, utilizing navigation tools, and managing time efficiently.
• Physical capability to load, unload, and secure freight safely.
• Dependable, detail-oriented, and committed to safety and company policies.
• Previous commercial or truck driving experience is advantageous, with familiarity of Kunnamkulam local routes preferred.
