About the Role

Join our dynamic team as a Home Delivery Driver, operating within a fast-moving retail environment focused on delivering excellent grocery services to local communities. In this role, you will be instrumental in fulfilling customers' online orders safely and on schedule, contributing to our commitment to quality and convenience.

Responsibilities

• Operate a 3.5-tonne van to deliver grocery orders to customers' residences punctually and in perfect condition.
• Conduct thorough checks to ensure the van is clean, well-organized, roadworthy, and that delivery goods are securely loaded before setting off.
• Engage courteously with customers, addressing inquiries, managing substitutions, and informing them promptly about any delivery delays.
• Develop detailed knowledge of our products, services, and seasonal promotions to assist customers effectively.
• Support store operations by assisting in various tasks when not on delivery routes.

Candidate Requirements and Eligibility

• Must be aged 18 or over with a full UK or EU driving licence held for a minimum of 12 months, with no more than six penalty points.
• Successful completion of an online driving risk assessment during the interview stage, followed by a driving evaluation upon commencing employment.
• Right to Work authorization within the UK is mandatory.
