Job description
Role Overview
Join Travis Perkins as a full-time HIAB Driver operating Class 2 HGV vehicles in Rickmansworth, England, with no evening or overnight shifts—offering excellent work-life balance.
What You’ll Do
- Transport building materials safely from the branch to local customers using a Class 2 vehicle equipped with a HIAB crane.
- Load and secure cargo using HIAB equipment; complete safety and legal compliance checks before road travel.
- Make approximately 14 deliveries per day, maintaining professionalism and strong customer relations.
- Return to branch to reload when necessary, ensuring efficient workflow.
Who You Are
- Possess a valid Class 2 driving license and hold up-to-date CPC certification.
- Have held a Category B driving license for at least 12 months.
- No prior HIAB experience is required as training will be provided and funded.
- Customer-focused with strong interpersonal skills for building and maintaining relationships.
- Committed to safety, maintaining professionalism in all duties performed.
