Role Overview

As a Yard Sales Assistant, your daily tasks will vary but center around supporting our customers and ensuring efficient yard operations. You will be a key face of the branch, helping customers with a friendly and approachable attitude, often building lasting relationships by learning customers' names.

• Handling customer orders outside by loading and unloading goods from both customer and company vehicles.
• Receiving supplier deliveries of building products and accurately processing them into the branch warehouse records.
• Maintaining safety and tidiness in the yard environment, ensuring compliance with our strict safety standards.
• While forklift experience is beneficial, we provide full training to those without prior skills.

Candidate Profile

• An enthusiastic individual with excellent interpersonal skills, ready to fulfill a customer-facing role effectively.
• Physically capable of managing heavy and bulky items safely, following health and safety requirements.
• Adaptable and resilient, able to thrive in a fast-moving, dynamic workplace.
