Role Overview

As a Yard Sales Assistant, your daily activities will be diverse and customer-focused. You'll work outside handling customer orders, ensuring prompt loading and unloading of vehicles, and managing deliveries while maintaining the branch warehouse records accurately.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional customer service by being approachable, helpful, and friendly, building strong relationships with customers.
• Manage physical tasks such as loading and unloading goods from customer and company vehicles.
• Receive deliveries from suppliers, verifying and logging products into the branch warehouse system.
• Operate forklifts safely—a full training program is offered for those without prior experience.
• Ensure all health and safety standards are upheld by keeping the work environment tidy and secure.

Candidate Requirements

• Energetic and engaging personality with excellent interpersonal communication skills to interact confidently with customers.
• Capable of handling physically demanding tasks involving heavy and bulky materials while adhering to health and safety guidelines.
• Ability to perform well under pressure in a fast-paced, ever-changing environment with adaptability and resilience.
