Job Overview

This role is responsible for upholding exceptional cleanliness and maintenance standards within a casino environment, promoting a hospitable "Family Style Service" approach by displaying a positive and welcoming attitude.

Key Responsibilities

• Engage actively with high volumes of customers exhibiting an outgoing and cheerful demeanor.
• Establish strong guest connections by welcoming customers warmly and encouraging repeat visits.
• Deliver outstanding guest service, maintain positive interactions with guests and coworkers, and handle challenging situations with resilience and professionalism.
• Clean all slot machines, floors, windows, walls, stairways, and elevators thoroughly.
• Perform vacuuming on all floor surfaces.
• Sanitize, disinfect, and replenish all restroom supplies.
• Mop floors in bar areas, restrooms, and entrances.
• Remove all trash and debris from machinery, floors, and bins, disposing of waste in outdoor dumpsters.
• Maintain safety and security for guests and staff.
• Participate in scheduled safety drills.
• Paint, lubricate machinery and equipment as necessary.
• Report equipment maintenance needs and manage orders for replacement parts.
• Receive stock deliveries and store items appropriately.
• Maintain knowledge of casino events and promotions, providing assistance as required.
• Keep work areas clean and organized.
• Comply ethically with company, departmental, and regulatory policies, and encourage others to do the same.
• Address routine customer complaints discreetly and escalate complex issues to management, aiming to preserve positive guest relations.
• Adapt to flexible work schedules including late nights, weekends, holidays, and varying shifts.
• Assist with maintaining cleanliness by removing any discarded cups, glasses, bottles, or other items left by guests.
• Perform other duties as assigned by management.

Physical and Environmental Requirements

• Capable of pushing and pulling weights up to 200 pounds.
• Able to lift and carry items weighing up to 100 pounds.
• Frequent bending, stooping, twisting, reaching, and kneeling required.
• Safe handling of cleaning chemicals and equipment is mandatory.
• Ability to ascend and descend stairs while maintaining balance for extended periods.
• Comfortable working in standing, sitting, or walking positions over long durations.
• Willingness to work in a smoking and pet-friendly environment.
