Job Overview

Join Caesars Entertainment as a Houseperson at our Horseshoe Casino & Hotel in Robinsonville, MS. This role focuses on maintaining the cleanliness and presentation of all hotel areas to deliver an exceptional guest experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Transport cleaning tools and equipment across ramps efficiently and safely.
• Perform daily carpet vacuuming and shampooing to uphold hygiene standards.
• Clean windows thoroughly, both inside and outside the property.
• Wipe and sanitize walls, light fixtures, louvers, ceilings, shelves, exterior and cement walls.
• Operate mechanical cleaning machinery including rotary machines, blowers, and back vacuums.
• Clean and empty equipment such as shampooers, buffers, and vacuums after use.
• Utilize appropriate cleaning chemicals safely and correctly.
• Support Room Attendants by stripping beds, removing trash, delivering fresh linens, and related tasks.
• Assist with room makeup when necessary.
• Deliver guest amenities like pillows, extra beds, blankets upon request.
• Conduct deep cleaning of guest rooms and general areas throughout the hotel.
• Consistently provide outstanding customer service by embodying Spotlight on Success behaviors.
• Maintain a positive and enthusiastic attitude during all guest interactions.
• Create an inviting atmosphere by celebrating guest experiences.
• Stay informed with daily updates to greet guests warmly and build relationships.
• Anticipate guest needs and deliver prompt, flawless service.
• Address guest satisfaction proactively and utilize appropriate service recovery processes when required.
• Promote loyalty programs such as Total Rewards and card memberships.
• Offer guests a warm farewell and express appreciation for their visit.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred, along with prior housekeeping experience.
• Ability to read, understand, and write simple instructions and correspondence.
• Effective communication skills for one-on-one and small group interactions.
• Capable of following detailed yet straightforward oral and written instructions.
• Problem-solving skills suited for standard situations involving a few concrete variables.
