Health Safety & Environment Advisor Administration

About The Role

• This is a 12-month temporary position starting immediately.
• You will coordinate health, safety, and environmental (HSE) training, reporting, and compliance throughout the organization.
• Serve as the primary contact for practical safety support, managing incidents and their follow-ups.
• Maintain HSE systems including audits, risk assessments, and contractor records to ensure they remain current and effective.
• Assist leadership and teams to strengthen and cultivate a proactive safety culture.

Candidate Profile

• Previous experience in health and safety with a solid understanding of New Zealand legislation and industry best practices.
• Ability to build strong relationships, influence stakeholders, and contribute to a positive safety environment.
• Skilled in investigating safety concerns, implementing practical solutions, and converting data into comprehensive reports.
• Excellent communication skills enabling effective collaboration with management, stakeholders, and frontline employees.
• Well-organized, self-driven, and capable of managing multiple priorities including projects, compliance tasks, and HSE systems. Familiarity with EcoPortal is strongly preferred.
