Role Overview

VGW is seeking a Head of Program Delivery to become an integral part of their Product team based in Sydney or Perth. This leadership role requires providing Product and Commercial teams with a transparent and reliable overview of commitments, risks, and competing priorities across the global brand and platform portfolio. You will own the processes of planning, tracking, and reporting on delivery at a portfolio level to enable confident business decision-making.

Primary Responsibilities

• Developing and maintaining a unified overview of the portfolio and program health by aggregating delivery status and metrics across multiple teams.
• Managing the tracking and reporting for complex, multi-brand, and cross-functional programs.
• Identifying risks, conflicts, and interdependencies early with adequate context for prompt leadership action.
• Establishing structured planning and prioritization rhythms to coordinate efforts across the portfolio.

Candidate Profile

• A minimum of 10 years experience in program or portfolio management with proven ability to lead and build functions and teams.
• Demonstrated success managing portfolios of simultaneous cross-functional programs with accountability for delivery status and quality.
• Skilled at holding senior stakeholders accountable regarding delivery timelines while fostering positive working relationships.
• Strong commercial instincts with the capacity to translate program risk into actionable insights for leadership.
• Experience creating and operating a centralized source of truth using tools like Jira across teams at varying maturity levels.
