Job Summary
This role is a Fixed Term Employment (FTE) opportunity facilitated through Teamlease, focused on overseeing New Product Introduction (NPI) and project management activities across various departments and external collaborators.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee coordination and monitoring of NPI/project workflows from development stages through to field trials, pilot runs, and mass production phases.
- Liaise with R&D, Supply Chain Management (SCM), Quality Assurance, Production, Manufacturing Engineering, Vendor Development, Supplier Quality, and other external parties for seamless advancement of projects.
- Collaborate with SCM teams to guarantee punctual sourcing and availability of materials/components, manage supplier communications, inventory control, production schedules, and logistics in alignment with project timelines.
- Provide support throughout prototype construction, field testing, pilot production, and full-scale manufacturing, addressing and resolving project-related challenges.
- Monitor project progress, identify potential risks, and ensure timely resolution of actions and quality concerns.
- Coordinate with Quality teams to maintain strict adherence to quality benchmarks throughout the NPI lifecycle.
Required Qualifications and Skills
- Previous experience in Programme, NPI, or Project Management roles.
- Effective coordination, communication, and problem-resolution abilities.
- Solid understanding of manufacturing processes, supply chain management, quality control, and production procedures.
- Strong verbal and written communication proficiencies.
- Competence in using MS Excel and PowerPoint for data analysis and presentations.
Eligibility Criteria
Applicants must possess a B.Tech or B.E. degree in Mechanical Engineering.
